Designer Jennie Lynn Johanson went on a baby shopping spree. Johanson is expecting a baby boy in January and she visited some of her favorite baby/maternity stores in Boston and Brookline, MA with Boston Herald crew- Jill Radsken, Style/Fashion Editor; Matt Stone, Photographer; and Angela Rowlings, Videographer. The profile was featured in a two page spread yesterday in the Boston Herald and on BostonHerald.com.
Here is some of the gear that she purchased and places she visited:
Isis Maternity- The Prudential Center, Boston
Momzee maternity dress- "I love the feel and fit of this soft cotton dress. It’s very comfortable against your skin and something that can be used even after baby."
Belly Bars- "I keep these in my purse for when I’m on the go. I have turned several of my friends onto these delicious bars too."
Momm-eez loungewear- "I will definitely bring these to the hospital. They have snap down tops that will make nursing so much easier."
Isis Maternity just opened a location in the Prudential Center in Boston. They also have 3 other locations in Arlington, Brookline and Needham. "Isis is the place to go for all your parenting needs before and after baby," says Johanson. They have lots of class choices including a Newborn essentials class, Infant CPR and Breastfeeding classes. There instructors are incredibly well-versed and they offer a multitude of classes.. you won’t be able to take just one.

Lester Harry’s Boston store is so elegantly merchandised with its soft color palette and elongated design space. This is not only one of Johanson’s favorite places to shop for baby, but also her husbands. They have 2 locations: Boston and Marblehead, MA. If you are looking for a beautiful selection of European and American labels for your baby in MA this is the place.

Mustela- "Not only did Sheri Gurock suggest this line of cleansing products, but style/fashion editor Jill Radsken raved about these products as well for her little one. "

They have car seat specialists on hand and stroller matchmakers to assist you in choosing just the right fit your needs. They have a huge selection of toys that you won’t be able to drag your little tike out of there.
